What does delivery cost?
A flat R190, anywhere in South Africa. No zone pricing and no surprise charges at checkout.
How long does delivery take?
1–3 working days, counted Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) from the day your payment reflects. Outlying areas can take a little longer. We'll WhatsApp you if anything changes.
Can I collect?
Yes, from our Krugersdorp, Gauteng workshop — but it's a collection point, not a shop. There's nothing on the counter to browse or buy, so place and pay for your order online first. Then WhatsApp 069 022 5267 to book a time and we'll confirm your board is packed and ready before you drive out. Would you rather send your own courier? Also fine. Just let us know.
How do I track my order?
You'll get a shipping email with the courier name and tracking number when your board leaves the workshop. More on tracking.
Payment
All prices are in South African rand. Pay by card or EFT at checkout, or split it into 2–6 interest-free payments with Stitch Pay Later.
Returns: what can come back?
Your board must be unused, in the same condition you received it, in its original packaging, with proof of purchase such as your order confirmation. Returns must be started within 7 days of receiving your order.
How do I start a return?
Email hello@kiaatandsteel.co.za or WhatsApp 069 022 5267. If your return is accepted we'll send you instructions on where to send it. Boards posted back without authorisation first can't be accepted. Return courier costs are for the buyer's account.
What if it arrives damaged or wrong?
Check your board the moment it arrives. If it's damaged in transit, faulty or the wrong item, send us photos straight away and we'll repair, replace or refund it.
Refunds
Once your return reaches us and we've inspected it, we'll let you know if the refund is approved. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method; allow a few days for your bank to reflect it.
Engraved boards
Boards with custom engraving are personalised for you, so they can't be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Exchanges
The quickest way to swap is to return the original and place a new order.
Handmade from natural kiaat, every board's grain, colour and small marks are unique. That's character, not a defect. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act always apply.
